Shedding is Normal. Yes, you read it right. Hand-tufted rugs may experience shedding during the initial weeks due to freshly trimmed fibers.
You don’t need to wash them often.

Avoid machine washing/washing the rugs at home as it may degrade the quality of the wool and damage the backing.

Send it to carpet cleaning professionals who will handle the product perfectly for you once in a year only if necessary.

Just vacuum/dust it once or twice a week. Regularly in the first 2 weeks as it's freshly made.

Dust it regularly just to make sure the wool that sheds is taken care of or use a lint roller to clean the dust settled over it.

Limit the rug's continuous and direct exposure to sunlight.
Periodically rotate your rug to ensure even wear and extend its lifespan.
